SPECIAL FEATURES

MONOMETALLIC VALVES

Monometallic valves are made of single material. The selection of a material for this purpose is based on two requirements. I.e. high heat resistance and good anti friction properties.

BIMETAL VALVES

Valve made by joining together two different valve materials by friction wielding wherein high hot hardness alloy steel (austenitic steel) is used at the head and the stem made from a upright mechanical properties steel (martensitic steels).

STELLITE SEAT VALVES

A great deal of thermal stress is placed on exhaust valves in particular, which wears them down. It is therefore essential to strengthen or harden the valve seat. Valves made by using deposit of satellite to get high hot hardness at the seat.

BUTTON WELDED VALVES

The valve actuation places a great deal of stress on the stem end of the valve stem. To avoid wear, a small piece of martensitic steel is welded on the stem end when the entire valve is manufactured in stainless steel. Then this tip is quenched to improve their mechanical properties.

CHROME PLATED / NITRIDED VALVES

The Layer of Hard chromium is produce on the stem of valve. The main purpose of chromium layer is to reduce the friction between the stem of valve and the valve guide. It will increase the life of valve and valve guide. For the increase the hardness and to increase wear resistance on the stem of valves the nitriding processed done on valves.
